A Cutting Edge Anniversary Gift

A pair of scissors doesn't seem like a very "romantic" anniversary gift to some, but for me it was one of the most romantic gifts I have ever received.

Like most girls, I've received my share of jewelry and perfume but the gifts that are really meaningful are the ones that say not only "I love you" but "I know you."

I have always enjoyed activities of the home: sewing, cooking, even ironing!

I never realized my husband's admiration for my domestic frivolities until I received a pair of exquisite sewing scissors purchased from a fine cutlery company as an anniversary gift.

Every time I use the scissors, I think of the fact that my husband knows what I enjoy and wanted to be a part of that joy with his gift.
