I have the most special, unique gift ever...Because it was given to me in memory of my late husband. The gift of life, our daughter, Rachel Emerson Root!

She was given to us 6 weeks early on March 2, 2006. She was 3lbs and full of spunk and attitude...Just like her father! I believe I gave birth to her early so she could be "The Gift"...That would keep me going. Because on July 4, 2006 her father was called to Heaven...And now, "The Gift" had her purpose!

Four years later, she is still full of spunk with an even bigger attitude. She has, and will continue to be, the best and most unique gift to me!
