Enter your story and optional photo about a unique and healthy gift you received, for publication in this month's Super Unique Gifts Story Contest.
IMPORTANT: Your story should be related to the contest theme: "Why This Gift Was Healthy."
If your story is the most interesting and compelling, you could win a Tea Traveler and set of Sample Teas from this month's contest co-sponsor, Teas Etc.
Final Deadline for Entries:
Midnight (Eastern Time),
Saturday June 5, 2010
(Contest is limited to U.S. Residents Only)
Tell us about a special gift you received (and optionally include a photo of the gift, of you, or of the occasion if it adds to the story).
There is no minimum number of words required, but you should remember that people love to read details about an interesting story.
Make your story long enough to tell:
HOWEVER...
The best stories (and potential winners) will go beyond the "who, what, when and where" to the real core of the contest: the WHY.
The heart of your story should center around WHY the gift was special and unique -- and more importantly, why it was healthy.
1. You'll find a form below where you can enter a title for your story, then type in (or paste in) your story and add an optional photo. We'll notify you by email if there are any problems with your entry.
2. After approval, your contest entry will appear on its own page and will be linked at the bottom of this page, along with other contest entries. We'll notify you by email when your story is online.
3. Visitors to the contest pages will add positive comments to their favorite entries. Comments will play a small, but significant part in the judging, so you may want to let friends and family know about your entry via email, blogging, Facebook, or Twitter.
4. After the deadline passes, we'll make a final decision and notify the winner by email, so be sure to enter your correct email address on the Thank You form after submitting your entry.
5. We reserve the right to reject any entries that we think are not appropriate for a family-friendly audience or do not meet the contest guidelines for subject matter or originality. Contest is limited to U. S. Residents only.
NOTE: We'll announce the winner and the next contest topic here and in the June issue of our Unique Gifts Idea Alert email newsletter, which also provides you special gift discounts and online coupon codes for gift shopping.
(You can opt in to the monthly alert mailing at the top right of any page on the site. We send the Unique Gifts Idea Alert only to those who specifically request to be added to that list.)
