It's nice to be a librarian at school. You don't bother the pupils with hard work. You just help them to find a proper book for reading and express themselves by reciting, singing, acting ...

A few years ago I started an interesting program: Let's meet! These meetings are the chance for children to show their skills. They act, sing, read from their poems, play the guitar. They like it and they take part in it with joy! They often push me to arrange the event as soon as possible!

I was born on 22nd November 1964. Last November I expected a few cards: from my son, my husband, my mother and some friends. That day the weather was dull. The sky was gray and it was wet. I went to work at 11 am. When I got to the library glass door I noticed something unusual: there were a lot of children inside. They were smiling and clapping.

I entered and they said in chorus: "Happy Birthday!" I could not believe it! One girl read a birthday card. It was written: "Thank you for wonderful hours in the library! We'll keep you in our hearts!"

I was so happy and proud -- I had never mentioned my birth date! They started to perform their program. They acted, they sang and danced. I enjoyed everything! They organized it without any assistance. I said, "Thank you! I'm proud of you! I'll member this forever!"

It was really a special gift. I know that the others appreciate one's support. My work and love for pupils is not useless!
